Group Programs
Group programs are offered as ongoing education and support on a variety of health-related different topics. Each group program has multiple sessions, please see each program description or speak with a member of our team for more information.
+ Healthy Habits for Life Nutrition Group
Healthy Habits for Life is an on-going nutrition group led by our registered dietitian. This group meets once per month and aims to support patients by:
- Providing nutrition education on a variety of different topics
- Developing skills and confidence to apply healthy eating and activity behaviour changes
- Offering peer support to help motivate patients in working towards their individual goals
+ Art Therapy for Seniors
Art Therapy for Seniors is an on-going program led by our health promoter. This group meets once per month, and aims to support patients by:
- Providing a form of mental health support through creative expression
- Offering a sense of community and providing social support
+ Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy is an 8-week group program led by one of our family physicians. This group program aims to help patients by:
- Teaching mindfulness strategies to help manage stress and reduce the likelihood of depression and anxiety
+ Living and Learning with Baby
Living and Learning with Baby is a 6-week group program led by different members of our team including our nurse practitioner, registered nurses, and registered dietitian. This group is open to new parents, and aims to educate on various topics including:
- Support for breastfeeding and feeding baby
- Nutrition for baby and mom
- Caring for a sick child
- Infant CPR
- and more!
Single-Session Workshops
In addition to ongoing group programs, we also offer single-session health promotion workshops on a variety of different topics. Our single-session workshops are a convenient way to learn about topics which will support you in managing your health.

Holiday Healthy Eating
As the holidays approach, many of us are wondering how to maintain our healthy eating habits while enjoying festive foods. Join our group education session, hosted by our Registered Dietitian and current dietetic student, to engage in discussions and learn more about this topic. Mindfulness-Based Tools for Coping with Stress and Anxiety
Join us for an online workshop (via Zoom) led by our social worker to learn about mindfulness-based tools for coping with stress and anxiety. In this workshop, you will:
